The Experience of the elderly in the Muamnori-god focused on Death

Abstract

|
This study is a action research study to find out the experience of the elderly participated in the Muam-nori- gud which theme was death. The Muam-nori-gud was action-oriented method, composed of 8 sessions in K city. Subjects were 15 in total (male 13, female 2), living in K city. Data analysis was done through general qualitative research method, discription-coding- finding themes. The themes which were found in this study were encounter, acceptance, interaction, catharsis, and new view points about life. Therefore, this action method, the Muam-nori- gud will be one of effective methods to help elderly people to act in their repressed experiences of their past lives and get new positive viewpoints about their lives.
